Note: Der Graduiertencluster AUFBRUCH nutzt die Stärken des Rheinischen Reviers, um einen Beitrag zum Erreichen einer nachhaltigen Bioökonomie zu leisten. Er verbindet Akteure und schafft einen lokalen Innovationsraum, in dem Innovationen für den regionalen Bedarf entstehen und ein systematischer Wissens- und Technologietransfer von der Wissenschaft in die Wirtschaft stattfindet. In einer engen Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Forschungseinrichtungen, Fachdisziplinen und lokaler Unter-nehmen schafft AUFBRUCH drei Dinge für die Strukturwirksamkeit: 1) Exzellent ausgebildete Fachkräfte, die mit und in der Region den Transformationsprozess aktiv gestalten (Arbeitspaket 1), 2) technologische Innovationen für eine nachhaltige Bioökonomie (Arbeitspaket 2) und 3) zukunftsweisende Firmengründungen (Arbeitspaket 3).
