520 | _ | _ | |a The idea of isogeometric analysis is to use the more sophisticated basis functions of design systems alsofor the analysis. This requires a thoughtful update of element formulations. A precise and effective Reissner–Mindlinshell formulation is presented in this contribution. Special focus is put on the numerical integration of the stiffnessmatrix.
