Ausgehend von einem eigens für diese Promotionsschrift erstellten digitalen Archiv des Gesamtwerks von Dieter Baacke wird auf breiter Ebene die pragmatische Ebene des Diskurses hinsichtlich der für die Medienpädagogik entscheidenden Diskussionen zum Begriff der Medienkompetenz untersucht. Dabei wird ausgehend von aktuellen Forschungen zur Methode der Diskursanalyse - und anhand der Gesamtwerke von Michel Foucault und Pierre Bourdieu -im methodologischen Teil dieser Arbeit die Notwendigkeit betont, eine Diskurpragmatik zu argumentieren, wie Dieter Baacke bereits in seiner Habilitationsschrift >Kommunikation und Kompetenz< herausgearbeitet hat. Diese akademische Anerkennungsschrift wird deshalb als empirischer Teil einer diskursanalytischen Tiefenanalyse unterzogen und wissenschaftsgeschichtlich kontextualisiert. Als kumulative, publikationsbasierte Dissertation werden davon ausgehend in insgesamt elf weiteren Beiträgen verschiedene medienpädagogische Aspekte diskutiert, die mit den Arbeiten Dieter Baackes in einem direkten Zusammenhang stehen. So werden Medientheorien und Mediengeschichte(n) genauso erläutert, wie medienspezifische Teile der Arbeiten von Jürgen Habermas und Pierre Bourdieu, deren Theoriebildung den Anlass dazu gibt (französische) Praxeologie und (deutsche) Handlungstheorie zu verknüpfen. Darüber hinaus inkludiert diese Promotionsschrift eine „grammatopraxeologische“ Filmanalyse und einen abschließenden Beitrag zur Politischen Philosophie, der die gesamte Arbeit als Teil des Historischen Materialismus 4.0 lesbar macht.$$lger

Dieter Baacke’s foundation of media education as discourse pragmatics on the basis of a digital archive of Dieter Baacke’s complete work created especially for this doctoral thesis, the pragmatic level of discourse is examined on a broad scale. With regard to the discussions on the concept of media literacy the relevance of discourse pragmatics in the framework of media education is outlined. Based on current research on the method of discourse analysis - and the works of Michel Foucault and Pierre Bourdieu - the methodological part of this work, prepares a close reading of Baackes habilitation thesis >Communication and Competence<. This thesis is therefore described in the sense of a discourse-analytical depth analysis and contextualized in the history of science. As a cumulative, publication-based dissertation, a total of eleven further contributions discuss various aspects of media education that are directly related to Dieter Baacke’s work. Thus, media theories and media histories are explained in the same way as media-specific parts of the works of Jürgen Habermas and Pierre Bourdieu, whose theory formation provides the opportunity to combine (French) praxeology and (German) theory of action. In addition, this doctoral thesis includes a “grammatopraxeological” film analysis and a concluding contribution to Political Philosophy, which makes the entire work readable as part of Historical Materialism 4.0.$$leng
