Diesbezüglich wurde ein Korpus (120 Texte) aus zweisprachigen Kinderbüchern in den Sprachkombinationen Deutsch-Französisch und Deutsch-Italienisch zusammengestellt und untersucht mit dem Ziel, Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der sprachlichen Enkodierung von Emotionen zu beschreiben. In der Analyse trifft der Diskurs zur linguistischen Relativität auf die Untersuchung potentiell universaler Konzeptualisierungsmechanismen, wie das Embodiment. Die durchgeführte Analyse geht in einem qualitativen Untersuchungsvorgehen sowohl auf die Denotation als auch auf die Konnotation ein. Quantitative Korpusdaten werden dabei für eine detailliere Darstellung zusätzlich eingebunden.$$lger

In this context, a corpus (120 texts) of bilingual children's books in the language combinations German-French and German-Italian was analyzed, in order to describe the differences and the similarities in the linguistic encoding of emotions. This research combines a focus on both linguistic relativity and potentially universal mechanisms of conceptualization, like embodiment. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach to investigate and describe denotation and connotation.
