%X Mixed ionic and electronic conductors (MIECs) play an important role in science and industry due to their property to have an ionic and electronic conductivity. A suitable technique to investigate the partial conductivities of a MIEC is the Hebb-Wagner polarization method. This method can be used to separate the electronic conductivity from the ionic conductivity by polarizing the material between an ion-blocking and a reversible electrode using an external voltage.
