000978504 5203_ $$aGrundsätzlich herrscht in Industrie und Wissenschaft Konsens über den immanenten Einfluss von Industrie 4.0 auf die Arbeitswelt produzierender Unternehmen. Weitestgehend unklar sind die konkrete Ausgestaltung des soziotechnischen Systems auf dem Shopfloor und die zur Erlangung langfristiger Beschäftigungsfähigkeit erforderlichen Kompetenzen. Zur Entwicklung von Maßnahmen zur Förderung der Beschäftigungsfähigkeit müssen diese Aspekte jedoch geklärt sein. Zur Adressierung der Problemstellung wird in dieser Arbeit ein Modell zur Messung und Vorhersage der industriellen Beschäftigungsfähigkeit (IB) im Kontext von Industrie 4.0 entwickelt. Folgende zentrale Forschungsfrage konkretisiert die Zielstellung: „Lässt sich die Beschäftigungsfähigkeit der Mitarbeitenden auf operativer Ebene im produzierenden Sektor im Kontext von Industrie 4.0 messen und vorhersagen?“. Die Design Research Methodology dient als Rahmen zur Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage mittels eines Multimethodenansatzes über qualitative und quantitative Studien. Basierend auf systematischen Literaturanalysen und Experteninterviews wird zunächst die IB, geclustert in vier Dimensionen, definiert. Anhand einer Szenario- und Personalentwicklung mit Experten aus Industrie und Wissenschaft werden für die IB relevante Faktoren auf Individual- und Unternehmensebene ermittelt. Die Resultate dieser Studien werden mit bestehenden Erkenntnissen aus der Literatur kombiniert. Das Ergebnis dieser Synthese stellt das Hypothesenmodell der IB dar. Zur Testung und Validierung des Modells werden zwei empirische Fragebogenstudien mit insgesamt knapp 650 Teilnehmenden durchgeführt. Alle Zusammenhänge der Faktoren auf Individualebene mit den IB-Dimensionen werden in mindestens einer Studie bestätigt. Insgesamt wird aufgezeigt, dass die IB-Dimensionen zur Abbildung der Beschäftigungsfähigkeit in Industrie 4.0 geeignet sind und die Faktoren auf Individualebene einen großen Teil der IB-Dimensionen erklären. Somit wird erstmals ein Modell zur Beschäftigungsfähigkeit für die Shopfloorarbeit in Industrie 4.0 entwickelt, erfolgreich getestet und größtenteils validiert. Die Arbeit leistet einen Beitrag auf den Gebieten der Querschnittsforschung zur Beschäftigungsfähigkeit unter Einsatz des Multimethodenansatzes. 000978504 520__ $$aThere is a general consensus in industry and science about the immanent impact of Industry 4.0 on the working world of manufacturing companies. What remains largely unclear is the specific design of the socio-technical system on the shop floor and the competences required to achieve long-term employability. However, these aspects must be clarified in order to develop measures to promote employability. To address the problem, this thesis develops a model for measuring and predicting Industrial Employability (IE) in the context of Industry 4.0. The following central research question is formulated: "Can the employability of employees at operational level in the producing sector be measured and predicted in the context of Industry 4.0?". The Design Research Methodology serves as a framework for answering the research question using a multi-method approach across qualitative and quantitative studies. Based on systematic literature analyses and expert interviews, IE, clustered into four dimensions, is first defined. Using scenario and persona development with experts from industry and science, factors relevant to IE are determined at individual and company level. The results of these studies are combined with existing findings from literature. The result of this synthesis is the hypothesis model of IE. In order to test and validate the model, two empirical questionnaire studies with almost 650 participants are conducted. All correlations between the individual-level factors and the IE dimensions are confirmed in at least one study. Overall, it is shown that the IE dimensions are suitable for modelling employability in Industry 4.0 and that the individual-level factors explain a large proportion of the IE dimensions. Thus, for the first time, an employability model for shopfloor work in Industry 4.0 is developed, successfully tested and largely validated. The thesis makes a contribution to the fields of cross-sectional research on employability using the multi-method approach. As a contribution to practice, the results of the studies are used to derive concrete recommendations for action for companies, employees and other stakeholders in the labour market.$$leng
