AB  - Tungsten carbide-cobalt cemented carbides with a low cobalt content are essential for the manufacturing of cutting tools. The development of laser-based additive manufacturing (Powder Bed Fusion Laser Beam, PBF-LB) of these carbide grades does not go beyond feasibility studies. Cracking and the unexplained formation of undesirable cobalt-tungsten carbides prevent their use as tool materials. The aim of this work is the development of the PBF-LB process with subsequent post-treatment for carbides with 12 wt.-
