The coordinated exchange and synchronization of information across company boundaries inherently involve communication across heterogeneous software environments, which causes interoperability challenges. Open standards, mainly Linked Building Data, are a potential means of overcoming these challenges. To tackle the sheer volume of data, I have studied various aspects of Linked Building Data management, including supervision of the data, provision of information, managing versioning, data availability, confidentiality, and integrity.
