AB  - The construction industry has embraced digital technologies more slowly than other industries, and fragmentedly. The coordinated exchange and synchronization of information across company boundaries inherently involve communication across heterogeneous software environments, which causes interoperability challenges. Open standards, mainly Linked Building Data, are a potential means of overcoming these challenges. To tackle the sheer volume of data, I have studied various aspects of Linked Building Data management, including supervision of the data, provision of information, managing versioning, data availability, confidentiality, and integrity. Furthermore, considerations of how this can fulfil the ISO 19650 vision of the most mature building information framework have been regarded.
