Kurzfassung
A database of individual hearing-aid-related transfer functions (HARTFs) with high spatial resolution is presented as supplementary material to [Pausch et al.: Hybrid multi-harmonic model for the prediction of interaural time differences in individual behind-the-ear hearing-aid-related transfer functions, 2022]. The dataset contains the acoustic measurements from 30 adults who were fitted with two dual-microphone behind-the-ear hearing-aids (HAs). Conventional head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) were measured simultaneously from in-ear microphones, placed at the blocked ear canal entrance. A state-of-the-art continuous measurement routine allowed to capture 9217 directional transfer functions on a measurement grid that was equiangularly discretised in steps of 2.5 deg in azimuth and elevation angles, the latter extending downwards to -70 deg. For simplified handling, the acoustic datasets are published in common spatial data formats via an open access repository. The database is complemented by a comprehensive collection of anthropometric features, and features related to individual HA placement.
