Kurzfassung
This data is analysed and reported in the Publication "From Friends to Phishers: How Known Senders and Fear of Missing Out Affect Young Adults' Phishing Susceptibility on Social Media". The study examines young adults' susceptibility towards phishing messages on Instagram. In an experimental online vignette study, phishing messages were received from unknown or known senders (user-sender relation, within-subject) with no, low or high consequences of missing out an event when not clicking (consequence of not clicking, within-subject). The analysis focused on users' intended behavior and their suspicion. Additionally, young adults' State FoMO and Trait FoMO were analysed.
