Kurzfassung
Minor Changes on 05.05.2025: In den Dateien "Read me.txt" und "UD_WSGGM.c" wurden Ergänzungen vorgenommen.
Die RWTH Aachen arbeitet im Sonderforschungsbereich/Transregio 129 (SFB/TRR 129) „Entwicklung von Methoden und Modellen zur Beschreibung von Festbrennstoffreaktionen in einer Oxyfuel-Atmosphäre“ mit der Ruhr-Universität Bochum und der Technischen Universität Darmstadt zusammen. Ein Kernziel des SFB/TRR 129 ist die Entwicklung von „Oxy-Sim 129“, einem universellen numerischen Simulationswerkzeug, das auf Large-Eddy-Simulation (LES) im Rahmen von OpenFOAM (Field Operation and Manipulation Library) basiert. Zusätzlich wird ein rechentechnisch weniger aufwendiges Simulationswerkzeug auf Basis der Reynolds-gemittelten Navier-Stokes-Gleichungen (RANS) (Oxy-RANS 129) entwickelt. Oxy-RANS 129 spielt eine unterstützende Rolle für Oxy-Sim 129.Minor Changes on 05.05.2025: Additions have been made to the files "Read me.txt" and "UD_WSGGM.c".
The RWTH Aachen University, in collaboration with Ruhr University Bochum and Technical University of Darmstadt, is working in the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC/TRR 129) project titled "Development of methods and models to describe solid fuel reactions within an oxy-fuel atmosphere." A core objective of CRC/TRR 129 is to develop "Oxy-Sim 129," a universal numerical simulation tool based on large-eddy simulation (LES) within the OpenFOAM (field operation and manipulation library) framework. In addition, a computationally less expensive simulation tool based on the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations (Oxy-RANS 129) is also under development. The Oxy-RANS 129 plays a supporting role for Oxy-Sim 129.
