Kurzfassung
The data set shown here contains recorded experimental data for the injection molding of a Post-Consumer-Recycled (PCR) material (Systalen PP-24000 gr000, supplied by Systec GmbH) and virgin material (PP579S, supplied by Sabic Deutschland GmbH) using a flat-plate geometry. The data set includes experiments controlled by a learning-based nonlinear model predictive controller and proportional controller for cavity-pressure control. Each measurement record includes the pressures in the screw antechamber and inside the cavity, the controller output, as well as the screw velocity, and the volume of the screw antechamber over time. Additionally, experiments using a part-mass controller are include within this dataset. For each iteration of this part-mass controller, the cavity-pressure reference, part mass and part-mass reference are given in this dataset. All experiments were conducted on an Arburg Allrounder 520 A 1500-800 injection molding machine at the Institute for Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University.
