Kurzfassung
This data is analysed and reported in the publication "Exploring the Impact of Ambient and Character Sounds on Player Experience in Video Games". The study examines the influence of character and ambient sounds on immersion, avatar identification, fun, and perceived competence. In two experiments, participants played League of Legends under four different sound conditions. In the first experiment participants were instructed to concentrate on their performance, while in the second experiment they were free to explore the game map.
